BRIEF: Report: Rob Gronkowski will miss one game at most with knee injury

Nov. 30--New England tight end Rob Gronkowski shouldn't be gone for long after being carted off with a right knee injury during the fourth quarter of the Patriots' 30-24 overtime loss to Denver on Sunday night.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport tweeted Monday morning that the superstar player "is unlikely to miss more than one game, I'm told. In fact, he may not even miss that."

That's great news for Patriots fans, who must have been particularly worried since Gronkowski had reconstructive surgery on the same knee last year.

Tom Brady also must be feeling pretty good about the positive report concerning his favorite target. This season the quarterback has thrown 92 passes to Gronk, who has 931 yards and nine touchdowns, both team highs.

But the person probably feeling most relieved Monday morning is the reporter who tried asking Patriots Coach Bill Belichick about Gronkowski's injury after the game Sunday night.

You know that poor guy must be thanking his lucky stars that he likely won't have to ask many more questions like that.
