June 25--The Chicago Red Stars will host watch parties for two FIFA Women's World Cup soccer quarterfinal games this weekend.
Red Stars Julie Johnston, Lori Chalupny, Shannon Boxx and Christen Press play for the U.S. national team and will take on China on Friday. Melissa Tancredi, Adriana Leon and Karina LeBlanc suit up for Canada in a match against England on Saturday.
During Friday's gathering, Red Stars players will make appearances and the team will give away prizes such as tickets and memorabilia signed by World Cup players.
