BRIEF: R. Kelly announces tour with Allstate Arena stop

March 21--R. Kelly announced Monday he will embark on a tour next month in support of his new album "The Buffet" that includes a stop at the Allstate Arena.

The South Side native is slated to perform May 7 at the Allstate Arena with tickets scheduled to go on sale Friday via Ticketmaster. Kelly, 49, announced he will kick off "The Buffet" tour April 21 in Cincinnati.

Pre-sale tickets are slated to be available Wednesday with a promo code Kelly will reveal on his social media.

"The Buffet," his 13th solo studio album, dropped in December.
