Feb. 16--Q-BBQ, a Michelin Bib Gourmand winner with four locations in the city and suburbs, will be the first restaurant to do a pop-up at Willis Tower.
Enter on Wacker Drive to find a barbecue feast at the ready in the southwest corner of the lobby. The lineup includes pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket, served as a platter with two sides ($8-$11) or in a sandwich ($7); and Southwest chicken salad ($8).
For the sides, choose from slaw, baked beans, cornbread and the restaurant's signature Mac-Q-roni, made with four cheeses and topped with crumbled cheese crackers.
And this is for many allegiances of barbecue: Sauces, pre-portioned to-go, include a North Carolina-style vinegar sauce, a Memphis-style sweet sauce and a Texas-style spicy sauce.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. February 22-26, 233 S. Wacker Dr., www.q-bbq.com.
