Feb. 22--Take off your glass slippers and toss your tiara. The princess parody "Disenchanted!" is coming to the Broadway Playhouse in May, Broadway in Chicago announced Monday.
The not-for-kids musical comedy features real-talk royals ready to set the historical record straight. Conceived by a former history teacher, the production began at Orlando's International Fringe Festival in 2011, where it won the Best of Fest award. It has since premiered across the U.S. and internationally.
The musical opens May 10 and plays through June 5. Tickets go on sale this Friday and are available at 800-775-2000 and broadwayinchicago.com. Broadway Playhouse is located at Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut St.
