BRIEF: Preview: Oklahoma at Oklahoma State

Nov. 28--TV: 7 p.m. Saturday; ABC-7.

Line: Oklahoma by 7.

Records: Oklahoma 10-1, 7-1 Big 12; Oklahoma State 10-1, 7-1.

Last meeting: Oklahoma State won 38-35 on Dec. 6, 2014, in Norman, Okla.

On the offensive: The Sooners are optimistic Heisman Trophy candidate Baker Mayfield will play after suffering a concussion against TCU. Mayfield leads the nation in passing efficiency, having thrown for 33 touchdowns to five interceptions.

Getting defensive: Though they're in the Big 12, the Sooners actually play defense and rank 10th nationally in defensive pass efficiency. The Cowboys are 57th, having just been gashed by Baylor for 45 points.

The number: 36. High temperature expected in Stillwater, with freezing rain. Can these offenses still light it up?

The talk: The Sooners moved up to No. 3 in the latest playoff rankings. Win impressively Saturday, and they can all but lock up a final four berth.

Teddy Greenstein's pick: The surging Sooners will not disappoint. Oklahoma 33, Oklahoma State 24.
