BRIEF: Preview: Ohio State at Michigan

Nov. 28--TV: 11 a.m. Saturday; ABC-7.

Line: Ohio State by 1.

Records: Ohio State 10-1, 6-1 Big Ten; Michigan 9-2, 6-1.

Last meeting: Ohio State won 42-28 on Nov. 29, 2014, in Columbus, Ohio.

On the offensive: All eyes will be on the underachieving Ohio State offense, which produced just five first downs against Michigan State. RB Ezekiel Elliott and WR Michael Thomas -- projected first-round draft picks -- need to get the ball more.

Getting defensive: Michigan leads the Big Ten by allowing just 4.2 yards per play, but the Wolverines are last in takeaways with 10. Ohio State has forced 18 turnovers, and its defense hasn't allowed more than 17 points in five straight games.

The number: 10. Buckeyes wins in the last 11 meetings. But seven of Michigan's last eight first-year coaches have beaten Ohio State.

The talk: Props to the Ohio State students who spelled out "WE ARE PENN STATE" with T-shirts at Tuesday's basketball game. The Buckeyes and Wolverines need Penn State to beat Michigan State for either to win the Big Ten East.

Teddy Greenstein's pick: Can the Buckeyes rediscover their mojo? The Wolverines' mindset is no wild card. Michigan 24, Ohio State 17.
