BRIEF: Preview: Notre Dame at Clemson

Records: Notre Dame 4-0; Clemson 3-0.

Last meeting: Clemson won 16-10 on Nov. 17, 1979, in South Bend, Ind.

On the offensive: C.J. Prosise is fifth in the country in rushing with 150 ypg (8.1. ypc), while Will Fuller's six TD receptions ties him for third in the country. The Irish have scored seven TDs of at least 50 yards, the most in one season under Brian Kelly.

Getting defensive: Clemson QB Deshaun Watson will test the Irish secondary; he's completing 74.4 percent, fourth nationally, with seven TDs. Wayne Gallman (103.3 ypg, 5.8 ypc) leads the Tigers running game.

The number: 5. Games in a row the Irish have topped 200 rushing yards, their longest streak since 2000.

The talk: Redshirt freshman QB DeShone Kizer and the Irish can get a signature road win against a defense ranked ninth in the nation.
