On the offensive: Northwestern rushed for 344 yards Saturday in a 41-0 victory over Eastern Illinois. The Wildcats are 22-for-39 (56.4 percent) on third down, which leads the Big Ten.
Getting defensive: Matthew Harris had two interceptions, including a pick-six, against EIU. NU has limited opponents to 3-for-26 on third down, ranking third in the nation. The Wildcats are one of four teams that have not allowed a TD.
