Oct. 23--TV: 2:30 p.m.; WLS-Ch. 7.
Line: Michigan State by 16.5.
Records: Indiana 4-3, 0-3 Big Ten; Michigan State 7-0, 3-0.
Last meeting: Michigan State won 56-17 on Oct. 28, 2014, in Bloomington, Ind.
On the offensive: Indiana's Nate Sudfeld and Michigan State's Connor Cook, who have combined for 24 touchdown passes and just five picks, might be the Big Ten's best passers. Indiana needs RB Jordan Howard (ankle) back on the field.
Getting defensive: The Hoosiers got bludgeoned last week, allowing 55 points and 596 yards to Rutgers. More was expected from a Spartans "D" that is allowing 5.4 yards per play, ninth in the conference.
The number: 0. Losses for Michigan State, which was a play away from losing to Oregon and Michigan. Call it clutch or good fortune, but 7-0 is 7-0.
The talk: The Spartans should be inspired to play for Jalen Watts-Jackson, who fractured his left hip on the game-winning touchdown at Michigan and is done for the season.
Teddy Greenstein's pick: A letdown is inevitable, but the Spartans will gut out another one. Michigan State 37, Indiana 27.
