BRIEF: Preview: Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns

Nov. 15--The Clippers will play the Phoenix Suns on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Staples Center, after losing to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

"They've been good," Coach Doc Rivers said of the Suns. "They're tough to scout because you don't know who's going to be in at the end of the game. The last two games, it's been Gerald Green and Isaiah Thomas at the end of the game and no [Eric] Bledsoe or [Goran] Dragic. Then the games before that, it was the other two games. They're just lethal offensively, and they're solid defensively. They're a hard team to play."

The Suns have opened their season with a record of 5-3. They're led by Thomas, who is averaging 17.4 points and 4.1 assists a game.

The Clippers have opened their season with a record of 4-3. Blake Griffin is averaging 24.3 points and 6.9 rebounds a game.

The Suns don't have any significant injuries heading into Saturday's game.

Clippers center/power forward Spencer Hawes is on a minute restriction because of a strained left foot, which he aggravated against the Golden State Warriors last week.
