BRIEF: Preview: Clippers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Feb. 05--The Cleveland Cavaliers (30-20) have won 11 straight games, outscoring their opponents by an average of 12.9 points during the streak.

The Clippers (33-16) are four games into an eight-game trip with a record of 2-2.

The last time these teams played, the Cavaliers won, 126-121. In that game, the Cavaliers outshot the Clippers from the field 55% to 47% and from beyond the three-point line 44% to 35%. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving combined for 69 points, James finishing with 32 and Irving with 37.

The Clippers are coming off of a 102-100 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday in which they allowed the Nets to go on a 10-0 run in the final minute of the game.

Clippers starting shooting guard J.J. Redick, who played just four minutes in that game because of back spasms, is questionable for Thursday's game.

"I'm sure he's better just by looking at him," Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said. "He looks much better, so, I mean, there's a chance, but we're going to be very cautious."
