BRIEF: Police warn of Walgreen store thefts on Northwest Side

Feb. 14--Police are warning of thefts targeting Walgreen stores on the city's Northwest Side.

Two separate thefts were reported late last month at Walgreen stores in the Hermosa and Cragin neighborhoods, according to a police statement.

The first theft happened about 2 a.m. Jan. 26 in the 1600 block of North Pulaski Road. A store in the 4800 block of West Fullerton Avenue was burglarized the next day about 5 p.m., police said.

In both incidents, thieves took storage totes from an outside storage area. Anyone with information can contact detectives at 312-744-8263.
