BRIEF: Police warn of burglaries in Rogers Park

March 13--Police are warning Far North Side residents after a string of burglaries in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

Two of the burglaries happened at businesses in the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road. In each incident, a brick was used to break a window and liquor, cash and cigarettes were taken, police said in a statement.

One burglary was reported March 8 and the other was Feb. 20, police said.

In two other incidents, burglars targeted residences in Rogers Park and broke windows or doors, police said.

One incident happened about 7:30 p.m. March 2 in the 1400 block of West Jonquil Terrace, and the second incident happened about 10 p.m. March 2 in the 1600 block of West Juneway Terrace, police said.
