------

Police are asking for help in finding a missing 66-year-old Albany Park man who has dementia.

Hector Rivera, who lives in the 3200 block of West Warner Avenue, was last seen around noon Thursday when he walked away from his relatives' home in the 2200 block of North Kimball Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department's Office of News Affairs.

Rivera, who has brown eyes, gray-black hair and an olive complexion, speaks only Spanish and frequently walks long distances, according to the release. He was found in west suburban Berwyn earlier in October.

Rivera weighs about 150 pounds and is 5-foot-5, according to the release.

He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8200.
