BRIEF: Police searching for two gunmen in shooting that killed Downey man

Jan. 11--A man was found dead in a Downey driveway from what appears to be a gang-related shooting, authorities said.

Police responded to several 911 calls at 10:36 p.m. Saturday reporting gunshots in the 13000 block of Earnshaw Avenue. Officers found a man who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Downey Police Department.

Police are searching for two male suspects, who were last seen running northbound from the scene.

"Initial findings suggest this incident is gang related," police said in a statement. Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
