Dec. 11--Police are requesting the public's help investigating a Northwest Side hit-and-run that killed a 76-year-old pedestrian.
The accident occurred Dec. 4 at about 8:20 p.m., when a light-colored SUV hit the pedestrian in the 4800 block of North Central Avenue. The vehicle was seen going south on Central from Higgins Avenue.
The SUV, which is possibly a Buick Enclave, has extensive damage to its front side as well as a broken windshield.
