BRIEF: Police search for missing man with Alzheimer's

Oct. 14--Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 83-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease.

Stephen Marshall Delsol has been missing from the 4300 block of West Crystal Street in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood since Tuesday evening, according to a release from the Chicago Police Department.

Delsol left his relatives' house in the area of Lawndale Avenue and Augusta Boulevard to walk home to his residence, but he did not arrive there. He was last seen around 9 p.m., the release said.

Delsol is 5 foot 7 and 140 pounds. He has brown eyes, gray and balding hair, and a dark complexion, according to the release.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, green and black plaid T-shirt, black church pants and shoes. He was carrying a wallet with his Illinois ID, the release said.

Delsol has Alzheimer's and has been previously found in the 1800 block of North Clybourn Avenue, at Lake Shore Drive and LaSalle Drive as well as in the 2000 block of North Boulevard in Oak Park, according to the release.
