BRIEF: Chicago Police: Missing girl, 14, located

Nov. 02--A 14-year-old girl last seen Friday morning on the Southwest Side has been located, police said Sunday morning.

Veronica Pina was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans when she was last seen around 7 a.m. Friday in the 5600 block of South Francisco Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood. Police said Sunday morning that she had been "safely located," but gave no further details.

Pina, who is 5 feet 3 inches tall, had a black Nike book bag. She weighs about 135 pounds, has black hair, hazel eyes and an olive complexion.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
