BRIEF: Police search for missing Bridgeport man

Dec. 18--Police are searching for a man who went missing from the Bridgeport neighborhood on the South Side.

Emanuel Winston, 54, who suffers from memory loss, is missing from the 3700 block of South Wells Street, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department's Office of News Affairs.

Winston frequents the area near the intersection of Root Street and Wentworth Avenue, and he was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie, gray sweatpants and gray gym shoes, the statement said.

Officials could not immediately say when exactly Winston was last seen.

Winston is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion.

Anyone with information about Winston, who should have his Illinois identification with him, should contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
