April 30--Police said a man may have tried to lure two children into a black pickup truck near a Schaumburg park recently.
The children, who were school-aged, were walking near Jaycee Park around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Schaumburg police said in a statement.
A man in his 30s wearing a bright orange cap stopped the pickup and asked the children whether they wanted a ride, according to the statement.
The children then ran home, and the man left.
