BRIEF: Police release video of suspects in West Town attack

Nov. 05--Police have released surveillance video of two men suspected of beating and assaulting two women in the West Town neighborhood last week.

The women, 29 and 30, were walking to a car around 4 a.m. Friday when two men attacked them, police said. The men fled in a light or gold four-door car, police said.

The video shows two men leaving a building and walking down a sidewalk.

One of them was described by police as white or Hispanic, between 25 and 30, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9 with a dark beard and wearing a light-colored baseball cap, dark jacket and black hoodie. He weighed between 150 and 170 pounds, police said.

The other man was about the same age, between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-1, had short blond hair and was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants and gym shoes. He weighed between 150 and 160 pounds, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call detectives at (312) 747-8380.
