Aug. 25--A brief police chase ended with a crash on the Eisenhower Expressway just before midnight Monday, police said. No injuries were reported.
At about 11:45 p.m., Chicago police stopped a red SUV in the 3300 block of West Van Buren Street. As officers approached, the driver fled onto Interstate 290 and police followed.
The chase ended when the SUV crashed into the concrete median on the expressway near Kedzie Avenue. The driver is in custody.
