BRIEF: Chicago police officers revive cop who collapsed in station

Feb. 15--Two Chicago police officers came to a fellow officer's aid Saturday evening when he collapsed in a West Side police station, the department said in a release.

The 59-year-old officer passed out in the 11th District station at 3151 W. Harrison St. at about 6:30 p.m., police said.

Two other officers, each less than two years on the job, performed CPR and used a defibrillator on the unconscious officer.

He regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital, where his condition was stabilized, the department said.
