BRIEF: Police: Man pulls out camera near child at Wrigley Field bathroom

June 06--Authorities charged a man after he tried to use a camera to record a child inside a bathroom at Wrigley Field Saturday afternoon, police said.

Nichols J. Gregor, 37, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Police said the child and his father were at a bathroom by the urinals at Wrigley Field, at 1060 W. Addison St., when Gregor came up next to the child about 3:35 p.m. He allegedly pretended to urinate next to the child but instead took out a camera, according to police.

Gregor, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested shortly after the incident.

Gregor, of the 300 block of North Ardmore Avenue in west suburban Villa Park, has previously pleaded guilty to unlawful videotaping of minors and possession of child pornography and was sentenced to six months in the DuPage County Jail in 2011.
