Aug. 08--A man is accused of using a golf club to rob a man last month in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.
Richard Haley, 27, of the 5200 block of South Emerald Avenue, was charged with robbery and is expected to appear for a bond hearing Saturday afternoon at the Leighton Criminal Court Building in Chicago.
On July 30, Haley allegedly used a golf club to place the victim, a 27-year-old man from whom he tried to take $100, in a chokehold about 11 p.m. at the Emerald Avenue address, police said.
It was not known if the victim was hospitalized, and police said they were seeking one more suspect.
