BRIEF: Police investigate death of man found outside in Noble Square neighborhood

Feb. 18--Police are investigating the death of a man who was found dead outside Wednesday morning in the city's Noble Square neighborhood.

Police were alerted about 8:25 a.m. about a call of an unresponsive man lying on the 1300 block of West Chicago Avenue, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco.

Authorities said the man is believed to be in his mid-50s and homeless.

Area Central detectives have opened a death investigation.
