BRIEF: Police: Girl, 17, missing for two weeks

Dec. 09--Police are asking for help in finding a 17-year-old girl who has been missing for about two weeks.

Ahyannah "Yah Yah" Mitchell was last seen at 6 p.m. on Nov. 25 in the 7000 block of South Loomis Boulevard in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, according to an alert from the Chicago Police Department.

Ahyannah frequents the area near Laramie and North avenues as well as the 5000 block of West Ogden Avenue in west suburban Cicero, according to the alert.

Ahyannah is 5-foot-3 and weighs about 190 pounds. She has brown eyes, brown hair and a medium complexion, the alert said.

She was last seen wearing a blue Lincoln Park High School jacket, gray pants and black boots.

Anyone with information about Ahyannah's location should call Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
