May 03--Police were on the scene of a fire Sunday morning in the East Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
The first calls of the blaze, which started at a building in the 1000 block of North Winchester Avenue, came in at 7:56 a.m., police said.
Augusta Boulevard was blocked in both directions from Damen to Wolcott avenues, police said.
There was no word on injuries as of 8:40 a.m.
The Chicago Fire Department did not provide details.
