BRIEF: Police ask for help finding man visiting Chicago area from United Kingdom

Feb. 22--Police and friends are asking for the public's help finding a man visiting Chicago from the United Kingdom who disappeared after stepping out of a West Pullman nightclub early Saturday.

Ademola Owolana, 26, had been in the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue about 4 a.m. Saturday when he disappeared, according to a missing person alert issued Monday by Chicago police.

Owolana had stepped out for a cigarette at the Club LowKey lounge in that block when he disappeared, according to a missing person's flier distributed by friends on Facebook.

Owolana is from the United Kingdom and isn't familiar with Chicago, according to police.

Police described Owolana as black, with a medium complexion, standing about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, burgundy shirt, blue pants and gray gym shoes, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or call Area South Special Victims detectives at 312-747-8274.
