March 23--A 15-year-old boy was wounded in the foot when he apparently accidentally shot himself Monday on the South Side, according to police.
It happened about 10:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of South King Drive in the Washington Park neighborhood, police said.
The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said. Area Central detectives are investigating.
