Dec. 23--Check out a first look at photos from "Gotta Dance," the new musical currently playing in a pre-Broadway tryout at Broadway in Chicago's Bank of America Theater.
"Gotta Dance," the story of a senior-citizen dance team ready to take center court, will open on Broadway in the fall of 2016. Directed by Jerry Mitchell, the production includes a book by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and Nell Benjamin, with additional music by Marvin Hamlisch.
The cast stars Andre De Shields, Georgia Engel, Stefanie Powers, Lillias White, Haven Burton, Lori Tan Chinn, Joanna Jones and Nancy Ticotin, along with Alexander Aguilar, Adinah Alexander, Sydni Beaudoin, Holly Ann Butler, Paula Caselton, Murphy Cross, Madeleine Doherty, Tracy Jai Edwards, Ari Groover, Colby Lewis, Lenora Nemetz, Lance Roberts, Elise Santora, Jonalyn Saxer, Austin Scott III, Kay Walbye and Virginia Ann Woodruff.
"Gotta Dance" plays through Jan. 17 at the Bank of America Theater, 18 W. Monroe St.
