BRIEF: Pegasus Theatre Chicago announces 2015-16 season

Aug. 24--Pegasus Theatre Chicago has announced its 2015-16 season, including a world premiere by playwright Nambi E. Kelley.

First is Kelley's "For Her as a Piano," (Sep.30-Nov.1) directed by Ilesa Duncan with music direction and composition by Jaret Landon. In this musical drama, a woman unravels an unknown family history through the intersected lives of three generations of women.

Next up is the 29th Young Playwrights Festival (Dec.30-Jan.24). This annual playwrighting competition for high school authors features one-act plays showcased as part of Pegasus' main stage season.

The spring production (March 19-April 17) is yet to be announced. All performances will be presented at Chicago Dramatists, 1105 W. Chicago Ave.
