March 24--In a game critical to their quest to reach the postseason, the Chicago Bulls may not have a key component to their lineup.
Center Pau Gasol was listed as questionable when the Bulls released their injury report for Thursday night's game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. In addition to having swelling in his right knee, it's possible Gasol will need to be rested following the Bulls' disheartening 115-107 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night at the United Center.
Gasol, who remains on a minutes limit after missing four games with right knee swelling, had four points and five rebounds in 25 minutes Wednesday.
At 36-34, the Bulls stand in ninth place in the Eastern Conference and another loss to the struggling Knicks would be a significant blow to the Bulls' chances to reach the playoffs. Not with the team on the trip are Cameron Bairstow (back), E'Twaun Moore (left hamstring) and Joakim Noah (left shoulder).
