Nov. 17--If you know chef Alain Roby at all, you know him for his outsized, remarkable all-chocolate sculptures. He holds three Guinness World Records, including the one for "World's Tallest Chocolate Sculpture."
And now, the sugar-dusted chef is going savory.
Adjacent to his well-known A.C.K. (All-Chocolate Kitchen, 33 S. Third St. in west-suburban Geneva), Roby will open Primo, a small-plates and fine-wine restaurant, in January.
Menu items will include cheeses and charcuterie, along with prepared dishes such as lamb shank, eggplant confit and crab-avocado sliders.
And desserts. There will be desserts.
