BRIEF: Park Manor shooting wounds 1

Oct. 27--A 24-year-old man was taken to a hospital after being shot in the Park Manor neighborhood Tuesday morning on the South Side.

Someone shot the 24-year-old in the side about 9 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Evans Avenue, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and his condition had stabilized, Pacheco said.

No one has been arrested, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
