BRIEF: 'Paranormal's' Oren Peli wants activity on his home listing

Feb. 10--Oren Peli of "Paranormal Activity" fame has listed his home in Hollywood Hills West at $3.295 million.

The contemporary Mediterranean was designed for entertaining with a 20-foot-tall great room. Palladian-style windows take in city, canyon and ocean views.

Custom tile work, wood beams, skylights, electronic draperies, plantation shutters and crystal chandeliers are among interior details.

A screening room/home theater on two tiers, an office and a guesthouse are within the 4,064 square feet of living space. There are dual master suites for a total of four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Outdoor areas include a kitchen with a bar and a solar-heated swimming pool and a rock-surrounded spa with waterfalls. Balconies overlook the pool and flagstone deck.

The property previously sold in 2010 for $2.3 million, public records show.

Peli, 45, is a director, producer and screenwriter. He has worked on such films as "Insidious" and "Chernobyl Diaries" and the series "The River."

Judy Ross-Bunnage of Coldwell Banker is the listing agent.
