March 28--Alderman Tina Bohman of the 1st Ward and the city of Aurora will host a Transportation Open House on Wednesday.

The event will focus on traffic initiatives and upcoming construction projects in and around the 1st Ward.

The open house will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Alarm Detection Conference Center, 1115 Church Road.

At 6:30 p.m., the Illinois Tollway Authority will give a brief presentation on the Farnsworth Avenue and Interstate 88 interchange reconstruction, but residents may drop in to the open house at any time between 4 and 7 p.m. for information, city officials said.
