Oct. 30--Notre Dame was selected seventh in the ACC preseason poll Wednesday while senior guard Jerian Grant was tabbed for the All-ACC preseason team.
The Irish are entering their second year in the conference after failing to reach the NCAA tournament last season.
Duke was picked to win the conference with North Carolina coming second. Louisville, the newcomer to the conference this season, was picked third.
Duke center and Whitney Young product Jahlil Okafor was selected conference preseason rookie of the year. Okafor was also voted to the All-ACC preseason team.
