Aug. 13--Notre Dame will wear all-green uniforms against Boston College on Nov. 21. Apparel designer Under Armour revealed the Shamrock Series uniforms in a tweet Thursday morning.
Notre Dame equipment manager Ryan Grooms tweeted a video of senior running back Josh Anderson modeling the new uniform.
Under Armour's green-on green Shamrock design is a nod not only to Notre Dame's Fighting Irish mascot, but Boston's heritage and historic "Green Monster" at Fenway Park.
The uniform also incorporates 11 breaks in the Notre Dame stripe on the helmet and pants leg -- one for each of the school's national championships.
The gold helmet features the Notre Dame Leprechaun.
