BRIEF: Notre Dame brings out heavy machinery on recruiting trail

Jan. 28--What has 18 wheels and can carry a lot of weight?

Notre Dame coaches are hoping the answer to that question is the team's equipment semi truck. No joke.

The nation's No. 1-ranked receiver, Demetris Robertson, tweeted a short video early Wednesday morning of the semi parked in a lot with the message: "Notre Dame outside my house."

Offensive coordinator Mike Sanford made sure to let the Twitter world know the Irish were in town courting Robertson when he tweeted a photo of the truck with the message "Can't beat this morning with ND One."

The Irish are making their final push for the coveted pass-catcher from Georgia six days before national signing day.

Robertson reportedly could decide between the Irish, Alabama, Georgia and Stanford sometime after signing day.

Notre Dame has the eighth-ranked recruiting class so far, according to 247sports.com.
