BRIEF: Notable Pasadena homes open to the public for Historic Highlands tour

May 21--The Historic Highlands Neighborhood Assn. is sponsoring a tour on Sunday of five homes from the late 1800s to early 1900s in Pasadena's Historic Highlands.

The tour will highlight a range of architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial Revival and Craftsman. The event will also include a tour of the Lacey House, a California bungalow designed by Sylvanus B. Marston, and the French Gothic sanctuary of the Westminster Presbyterian Church on North Lake Avenue.

The tour is self-guided, and docents will be available at each home to answer questions about the home's history and restoration, features, designer and past owners.

Where: Historic Highlands, Pasadena. Tickets at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1757 N. Lake Ave. or 1052 E. Woodbury Road.

When: Noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 24.

Price: $20. Discounted tickets can be purchased online in advance for $15.
