Jan. 07--Northwestern entered Wednesday's Big Ten home game against Ohio State looking to improve on its 13-2 start, the second best in school history.
The Wildcats (1-1 in the Big Ten) are coming off a 72-59 defeat to fourth-ranked Maryland on Saturday, during which Bryant McIntosh had 17 points, nine assists and five rebounds.
McIntosh leads the Wildcats with 15.9 points per game, to go with 7.1 assists per game, ninth in the country. Tre Demps has been good for 14.9 point per.
Ohio State is 10-5 overall and 2-0 in conference and is coming off a 75-73 victory against Illinois.
Marc Loving (15.2 points, 5.9 rebounds) and Keita Bates-Diop (12.9 points, 6.5 rebounds) lead the Buckeyes, who own a 74-67 victory against Kentucky.
