Nov. 13--Northwestern added a pair of highly-regarded prospects to national letters of intent on Wednesday.
Jordan Ash, a 6-2 guard from St. Joseph, and Aaron Falzon, a 6-8 forward from Northfield-Mt. Hermon High School (Newton, Mass.), have Wildcats coach Chris Collins excited on a number of levels.
"Two great additions to the program," Collins said. "And obviously to get a local player like Jordan ... that is something that has been important to us, to keep the local talent home and to be a part of what we are doing. He is from a great pedigree coming from St. Joe's and playing AAU with Mike Mullins' program.
"And with Aaron, for us to be able to go to the East Coast and get one of the premier shooters in the country at 6-foot-8 is a great get for us. He is going to fit in tremendously with what we are trying to do and how we are trying to play."
Ash averaged 16 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals per game as a junior. Falzon averaged 15.4 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists per game as a junior.
