BRIEF: Northlight names new literary manager

Jan. 14--Lauren Shouse has been named Northlight Theatre's new literary manager, the company announced Thursday.

Shouse, a dramaturgy consultant for Northlight in 2015, previously served as resident dramaturg, managed the literary department and headed the Ingram New Works Play Lab and Festival at Nashville Repertory Theatre.

Before working with the Nashville Rep, Shouse worked in London as a production executive for "The Night of 1000 Voices" at The Royal Albert Hall and The Odyssey Arena.

Shouse holds an MFA in directing from Northwestern University.
