May 17--An autopsy conducted Sunday determined that a Northlake man was a homicide victim, officials said.
Alexcis Martinez, 21, of the 400 block of South 44th Avenue, was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Martinez, who was shot on the block where he lived, died of a gunshot wound to his flank, according to an autopsy conducted by the office.
Martinez's death was ruled a homicide.
Northlake police could not immediately provide details of the shooting.
