Categories are Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, Rising Chef of the Year, Rising Pastry Chef of the Year, Best Chef de Cuisine, Best Sommelier, Best Mixologist, Best Restaurant Design, Best Restaurant Service, Best New Restaurant, Best Neighborhood Restaurant and Restaurant of the Year.
The Jean Banchet Awards nominees will be announced Nov. 2; the winners, decided by a panel of food and beverage journalists, photographers and frequent restaurantgoers, will be announced at a ceremony Jan. 17.
