Nov. 25--No injuries were reported when a school bus crashed on Ogden Avenue in Western Springs about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Western Springs police received a call of a bus on fire at Ogden near Howard Avenue. Passengers had already exited the bus when officers arrived on the scene. Four Nazareth Academy students had been on the bus. The Western Springs Fire Department assisted and put out the fire, police said.
Police said the driver of the bus rear-ended another vehicle while traveling westbound on Ogden, which was closed for about one hour after the crash from Johnson Avenue to Ellington Avenue.
The crash still was under investigation early Tuesday evening.
