Feb. 17--Downtown has all the good steakhouses, except for this hidden gem in Portage Park, where quality is high and prices low (of the six steaks on the menu, only one costs more than $32), thanks to a lot of on-site work by executive chef Joey Beato. For all that, the charcuterie plate is, for me, the real draw. The dessert list has gotten much more ambitious, now that pastry chef Elissa Narow is on board.
