BRIEF: NL Wild Card game scheduled for Oct. 7 at 7:08 p.m.

Sept. 24--Major League Baseball announced the times of the wild card games, with the Chicago Cubs likely to play in the National League wild card game on Oct. 7 at 7:08 p.m. (CT).

The Cubs still need to clinch a playoff berth, but they're lined up to meet the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NL wild card game, which will be televised by TBS. The Cubs and Pirates are chasing the St. Louis Cardinals for the NL Central title.

The American League wild card game will be played on Oct. 6 at 7:08 p.m. (CT) and will be televised by ESPN.
